| Just between 1975 and 1979, Pol Pot's regime was responsible for the deaths of nearly two million people. This genocide was followed by violence which continued until the end of 20th century. 19,000 mass graves, six million anti-personnel landmines, and hundreds of thousands of traumatized human beings are part of the legacy of that period. Today the majority of survivors are trapped in a cycle of poverty. |

The exhibit shows the context in which the abuse of children takes place. It emphasizes the victims, the pedophiles, the court trials and the foster homes working to help the victims recover. |
